Navigation & Workflow Audit
Every page on your site should lead visitors closer to a decision. This audit finds the pages where they get confused, stuck, or lost — before they bounce.
If you came from the Command Center, your site URL will be carried over automatically so you can continue with one click.
Most websites are built page-by-page, not journey-by-journey. The result? Service pages that don't link to pricing. Guides that end without a next step. Landing pages with six competing CTAs.
Visitors don't see individual pages — they follow a path. When that path breaks, they leave. A Navigation & Workflow Audit maps every path on your site and finds the exact spots where user journeys fall apart.
Does each page serve a clear user intent? We detect what visitors likely want when they arrive and whether the page delivers.
Does every page lead somewhere meaningful? We map internal links and check that each page connects to logical next steps.
Dead ends, loop risks, too many choices, intent mismatches — we detect 15 types of workflow friction automatically.
What does each page actually provide? We check for pricing, trust signals, FAQs, CTAs, process steps, and more.
A visual Mermaid flowchart showing how pages connect, where traffic flows, and where journeys break down.
Review each finding, approve or correct the AI's analysis, and export feedback to improve future audits.
We classify each page by its role (entry, hub, support, decision, utility) and infer what visitors most likely want when they land there. Then we check: does the page actually deliver on that intent?
A pricing page should help users evaluate options. A service page should explain what you do and link to next steps. A guide should teach something and then offer a clear path to act. When these expectations break, users bounce.
The audit checks for dead ends, weak next steps, loop risks, context gaps, unclear labels, too many choices, buried information, intent mismatches, missing supporting info, weak hierarchy, missing decision paths, trust gaps, comparisons without resolution, guides without next steps, and service pages without clarity.
Each hotspot includes a plain-English explanation of why it causes confusion, what the visitor expected, and a specific recommendation to fix it.
Every page in the audit includes 5 expandable inspection panels you can open one at a time:
1. Likely User Intent — What visitors probably want when they arrive on this page, with confidence scores.
2. Page Provides — What information the page actually contains (pricing, trust signals, FAQs, CTAs, process steps).
3. Next Steps Available — Where visitors can go next: primary paths, secondary paths, weak links, and missing connections.
4. Confusion Summary — How many hotspots were found, their severity, and the top issue to fix first.
5. Recommended Fix — A specific, actionable recommendation for improving the page workflow.
The audit generates a Mermaid-powered site flow diagram showing every audited page, its role, risk level, and how it connects to other pages. Arrows show link direction. Colors show risk: green = low risk, amber = medium, red = high.
Loop risks are shown as thick double arrows. Dead ends stand alone with no outbound connections. You can see at a glance where your site's user journeys break down.
Every confusion hotspot can be reviewed by a human. For each finding, you can mark it as:
✅ Approved — Matches expected user logic.
⚠️ Partly correct — Useful, but needs adjustment.
❌ Incorrect — Not what a human reviewer would expect.
Add notes explaining what you'd change. Your feedback helps improve future TCD audits. Export all feedback as JSON for your records or for your development team.
